A practical alternative to paying entirely as you go

Preventive care is easier to plan when the basics are already defined.

Smile Saver is Allegra Dental Center's in-office savings plan for patients who do not have dental insurance and want a practical way to keep up with preventive care while reducing the cost of selected treatment.

It may be a good fit if you are uninsured, between employer plans, self-employed, retired without dental coverage, or paying for care directly. You receive a defined preventive-care package for one annual fee, plus savings on selected restorative, orthodontic, specialist, and cosmetic treatment completed at Allegra Dental Center.

Not sure whether the plan will save you money? Call before enrolling. We can review your current coverage, likely preventive needs, and the plan limitations without pressuring you to join.

Included preventive care

What your annual fee includes.

These benefits are available during your active 365-day benefit period and must be completed at Allegra Dental Center.

Two routine dental exams
One set of diagnostic X-rays
One emergency exam
Oral cancer screening

A clearer way to compare

Insurance and an in-office savings plan solve different problems.

Dental insurance can be valuable when its premium, network, and benefits fit your needs. Smile Saver is designed for a different situation: patients without usable dental coverage who want defined preventive care and direct savings at the practice they choose.

The better question is not simply, “Which option sounds cheaper?” It is, “Which option matches the care I expect to use, the practice I want to visit, and the costs I can understand before treatment?”

Four questions worth asking

Choose around the care you are likely to use.

01 Will you use preventive care this year?

The plan is most useful when you expect to use the included cleanings, exams, and diagnostic services during the 365-day period.

02 Do you want to receive care at Allegra Dental Center?

Smile Saver stays within one practice. It does not cover treatment completed by an outside specialist or another dental office.

03 Do you already have usable coverage?

If you have insurance or an employer contribution, compare its premiums, network, waiting periods, covered services, and annual limits before enrolling.

04 Could treatment be part of your year?

The stated discounts may matter if eligible restorative, orthodontic, specialist, or cosmetic care is recommended at Allegra Dental Center.

Savings beyond preventive care

When treatment is recommended, the plan can reduce eligible fees.

A cleaning can uncover a cracked tooth, active decay, gum concerns, missing-tooth needs, or cosmetic goals. Smile Saver does not decide what treatment you need. It gives enrolled patients a stated discount when eligible care is recommended and completed at Allegra Dental Center.

20%

Restorative treatment

Including eligible implant treatment completed at Allegra Dental Center.

15%

Orthodontic and specialist treatment

For eligible care completed at Allegra Dental Center. Referred-out services are excluded.

10%

Cosmetic treatment

Including eligible veneers and teeth-whitening treatment.

Discounts apply only to eligible services. Electric toothbrushes and prescription toothpaste products are excluded. Services performed outside Allegra Dental Center are not included. Please confirm the current fee and eligibility for any planned treatment before relying on a discount.

Choose with the full picture

A savings plan is useful only when the terms fit your care.

Smile Saver may be more predictable than paying separately for every preventive visit. It is not automatically the lowest-cost choice for every patient. If you already have usable dental insurance, expect outside specialist care, or may not use the included services during the year, compare those tradeoffs before enrolling.

The plan is non-refundable and non-transferable. Benefits do not roll over, cannot be combined with insurance or other discounts, and exclude services that are not clinically necessary or recommended. Program fees and benefits may change annually.

Questions that should be answered before you enroll

The important limitations, in plain language.

Is Smile Saver dental insurance?

No. Smile Saver is an in-office savings plan, not dental insurance. It includes the preventive services listed on this page and provides stated discounts on selected treatment completed at Allegra Dental Center.

Can I combine Smile Saver with dental insurance or another promotion?

No. Insurance benefits, other discounts, promotions, senior discounts, and cash discounts cannot be combined with Smile Saver. If you have active insurance, the team can help you compare which approach is more practical before you enroll.

Do benefits begin immediately?

Yes. The benefit period begins when the enrollment fee is paid and continues for 365 days. There is no waiting period, but treatment still depends on appropriate evaluation, scheduling, and clinical recommendations.

Does the plan cover treatment outside Allegra Dental Center?

No. Smile Saver is available only at Allegra Dental Center. Services referred to an outside endodontist, periodontist, oral surgeon, or another office are excluded.

What happens if I do not use every benefit during the year?

Benefits must be completed during the 365-day enrollment period and do not carry over. The fee and plan are non-refundable and non-transferable, so it is worth discussing your expected care before enrolling.

Are pre-existing dental conditions excluded?

The plan does not exclude enrollment because a dental condition already exists. Smile Saver does not guarantee that every service is included or discounted. Care must be clinically necessary or recommended and completed at Allegra Dental Center.

A low-pressure next step
